
Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the brutal killing of a woman and her children in Dorayi Chiranchi Quarters, describing the act as barbaric, senseless, and a grave violation of human dignity.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the community of Dorayi Chiranchi, and the people of Kano State, praying for eternal rest for the departed and strength for their loved ones to bear the loss.
Governor Yusuf vowed that such a heinous crime would not go unpunished and has directed the Kano State Police Command to apprehend the perpetrators and ensure they face full prosecution. He also ordered the Kano Neighborhood Corps to step up patrols and community surveillance in vulnerable areas to prevent similar incidents.
The governor urged residents to remain calm, cooperate with security agencies, and report suspicious activities, assuring that his administration remains committed to protecting lives and property.
