
Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has urged the Governing Council of Kashim Ibrahim University to champion innovative research and community-driven initiatives that will support the state’s post-insurgency recovery and long-term development.
Speaking at the inauguration of the University’s Governing Council held at the Council Chamber of the Government House, Maiduguri, the Governor emphasized the need for the institution to focus on practical solutions that address both challenges and emerging opportunities in rebuilding the state.
Governor Zulum also formally inaugurated the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Dr. Muhammadu Indimi, alongside other council members, charging them to pursue excellence, innovation, and service to society through their leadership.
