Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has inaugurated the newly established College of Nursing and Midwifery in Gwoza town, headquarters of Gwoza Local Government Area in the southern part of the state.
As part of his working visit, Governor Zulum also commissioned a series of developmental projects, including 200 market shops and stalls, 18 units of teachers’ quarters, and 16 units of staff quarters, all constructed by the State Ministry of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RRR).
In addition, the Governor performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new central mosque and a Jummu’ah mosque in the community.
Governor Zulum reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to expanding access to education, healthcare, housing, and religious infrastructure to improve the quality of life for residents across the state.
