Governors from thirty states across the federation are currently gathered in Abuja for the 6th physical meeting of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) in 2025. The session brings together state chief executives and key officials from federal government establishments and agencies to deliberate on pressing national matters.

Already, the Governors of Gombe, Nasarawa, and Kebbi States, along with several deputy governors and the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, have arrived at the venue ahead of the meeting’s commencement.

Although the detailed agenda of the meeting has not been officially disclosed, reliable sources indicate that discussions are expected to focus on the state of the economy and other critical sectors affecting national development.

The meeting, which is being held behind closed doors, underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum to strengthening intergovernmental collaboration and finding practical solutions to key governance challenges across the country.
