GOWON PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO PRESIDENT TINUBU AT STATE HOUSE

Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, on Saturday visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

The visit was a courtesy call during which the elder statesman met with the President and discussed issues of national interest.

General Gowon, who served as Nigeria’s Head of State from 1966 to 1975, is widely regarded as one of the country’s respected national leaders. His visit to the Presidential Villa reflects his continued engagement in national affairs and commitment to the unity and progress of Nigeria.
