The member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Leke Abejide, has dismissed his alleged expulsion from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that those behind the action lack the authority to do so.

Speaking on NTA’s Political Update, Abejide stated that the ADC is currently facing a leadership crisis, with certain individuals “illegally parading themselves” as party leaders without any valid convention or legitimate process to confer such authority.

He maintained that only a properly constituted leadership structure, backed by due process, can take such disciplinary actions within the party.

Abejide reaffirmed his commitment to his constituents and stated that the purported expulsion would not deter him from carrying out his legislative duties.
