The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday arraigned the Managing Director of the Benue State Agricultural Development Company (BS-ADC), Mr. Donald Akule, before a Federal High Court over the alleged diversion of ₦59.8 million.

Akule is accused of misappropriating funds belonging to the state-owned agricultural agency. Details of the charges and his plea were yet to be fully disclosed as proceedings commenced.

The case adds to ongoing anti-corruption efforts targeting public officials and state-owned enterprises across Nigeria.
