The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Nasiru Gawuna, has resigned from his position.

According to reports by Daily Nigerian, Mr Gawuna has concluded arrangements regarding his political realignment, allegedly in connection with Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former Governor of Kano State.

He is expected to formally defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Tuesday.
