


Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani hosted the leadership of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), led by Dr. Kazeem Kolawole Raji, alongside Malam Al-Amin Muhammed Idris, winner of the NextGen Innovation Challenge 2025. The visit highlighted Kaduna State’s growing reputation as a centre for technology-driven solutions in security, agriculture, and other critical sectors, with Dr. Raji commending the state’s innovative approach.
Malam Al-Amin, who emerged winner from over 3,000 global competitors in London, credited the Kaduna State Government’s institutional support for his success, noting that he had no prior personal connections before receiving backing. His victory secured a £1.5 million investment for his clean-energy venture, Interface Africa, demonstrating the potential of Nigerian innovators on the global stage.
Governor Sani applauded Dr. Raji’s leadership and congratulated Malam Al-Amin, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and innovation under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s, GCFR, Renewed Hope Agenda. He emphasized continued support for young innovators through Kaduna’s vocational and skills development institutes, ensuring a sustainable ecosystem for technology and entrepreneurship in the state.
