Kaduna State is set to become a major hub for poultry production following a $200 million investment in a mega poultry project. Governor Uba Sani held a crucial meeting with the Minister of Livestock Development, Alhaji Idi Mukhar Maiha, to coordinate efforts ahead of the groundbreaking ceremony.
The project is expected to generate $450 million in annual revenue and create over 350,000 jobs, spanning farming, processing, and distribution. Officials say the initiative will modernize poultry production in the state, support small-scale farmers, and boost Nigeria’s overall food security.
Governor Sani expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for selecting Kaduna for the project, noting that it will position the state as a strategic agricultural and economic hub in West Africa.
The meeting underscored collaboration between state and federal authorities to ensure the project’s timely execution, signaling a significant step toward sustainable agribusiness growth in Nigeria. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
