Kano Commissioner for Science and Technology Resigns, Declares Support for Kwankwaso

The Commissioner for Science and Technology in Kano State, Dr. Yusuf Ibrahim Kofarmata, has resigned from his position and pledged his loyalty to the National Leader of the NNPP, Engr. Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

In a statement, Dr. Kofarmata said:

“Salam! I wish to categorically state that I hereby resign my appointment as the Commissioner and Member of the Kano State Executive Council. I took this decision in good faith, as I cannot continue to work under the government that derailed from the ideology that brought it to power.”

He expressed appreciation to Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, Senator Kwankwaso, and the people of Kano for their support, adding:

“On this note, I extend my gratitude to the national leader of the NNPP, Engr. Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf and the entire people who stood with us and made the journey successful. Alhamdulillah!”

Dr. Kofarmata’s resignation marks a significant political development in Kano State as the 2027 electoral cycle approaches.
