Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has reassured residents that the state’s security and stability remain fully intact. The assurance follows the State Security Council meeting held on Sunday, November 30, with top security officials in attendance.

The governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, stated that there is no credible intelligence indicating any imminent or significant threat to public peace. The administration strongly condemned the circulation of false security claims aimed at creating fear and confusion.

In coordination with security agencies and community structures, Kano State has heightened vigilance, with strategic deployments and active surveillance across all areas. The government emphasized that individuals spreading fake news could face legal consequences.
