Kano Govt Greenlights Gwarzo, Karaye Road Projects Worth N20.6bn

The Kano State Government has approved N20.6 billion for key road infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic activities across the state.
The approval was granted during the 35th State Executive Council meeting chaired by Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf, according to the Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Wayya.
The projects include N16.2 billion for the re-award of the Gwarzo–Tsaure–Tsanyawa Road, and N4.4 billion for the dualization of a five-kilometre road in Karaye Local Government Area.
The government said the projects align with its infrastructure development agenda to ease transportation and support growth in both urban and rural communities.
