Kano State has been struck by grief following the unexpected deaths of two members of the State House of Assembly, both of whom died on Wednesday within a very short interval.

Those who passed away are Hon. Aminu Sa’adu, also known as Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo, the lawmaker representing Ungoggo/Ungogo Constituency, and Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, who served the Kano Municipal Constituency.

Information available indicates that Hon. Aminu Sa’adu died first, with confirmation of Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji’s death emerging moments later. Official sources are yet to disclose the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

The development was publicly confirmed by the spokesperson to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, through a message posted on his verified social media handle.
