The Kano State Police Command has apprehended a notorious drug dealer alongside five suspected thugs during an operation at Jaoji Quarters in the Kano metropolis.

The arrest was confirmed on Wednesday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Haruna, in an official statement. He said the suspects were taken into custody following a targeted operation aimed at curbing criminal activities within the area.

According to the police, the arrests form part of ongoing efforts to dismantle drug distribution networks and suppress thuggery across the state. The suspects are currently being investigated and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of preliminary inquiries.

The police command reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and urged residents to continue supporting security agencies by providing timely and credible information.
