
Kenya’s Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) confirmed on Tuesday that an aircraft carrying 12 people has crashed in Kwale County.
According to an official statement, the plane was en route from Diani to Kichwa Tembo when the accident occurred. Emergency response teams and government agencies have been deployed to the crash site to assess the situation, determine casualties, and investigate the cause of the incident.
“The relevant agencies are already at the scene trying to establish the cause of the accident and its impact,” the authority said.
Further details, including the airline involved, the condition of passengers, and possible causes, are expected to be released after initial assessments.
