Kevin Federline has made shocking claims about his ex-wife Britney Spears in his forthcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew, set for release on October 21. In excerpts obtained ahead of publication, Federline writes that their sons, Sean Preston (20) and Jayden James (19), once told him that Spears would occasionally stand in their bedroom doorway at night holding a knife while watching them sleep.
The former dancer and reality TV personality describes the revelations as “deeply troubling,” adding that he struggled to balance concern for his children with compassion for Spears’ well-documented mental health challenges. The allegations come amid ongoing public debate over the singer’s post-conservatorship life and her relationship with her sons.
Neither Spears nor her representatives have publicly responded to the claims. Federline’s memoir, which delves into his marriage, fatherhood, and life in the shadow of pop superstardom, is expected to reignite conversation around one of entertainment’s most controversial family dynamics.
