The Director General, Protocol Directorate of the Kano State Government House, Abdullahi Rogo, has disclosed that discussions are ongoing to bring the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Rogo stated that the decision followed a meeting with the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly and other key members of the Kwankwasiyya movement, where a consensus was reportedly reached on the proposed defection.

According to him, the move is aimed at strengthening political cooperation and fostering unity within Kano State and at the national level.
