Lagos Introduces Three-Month Window for Replacement of Faded Vehicle Plates

Share

The Lagos State Government has announced a three-month rebate window for motorists to replace faded or unreadable vehicle number plates at a reduced cost.
The initiative, approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and disclosed by the Motor Vehicles Administration Agency (MVAA), is aimed at improving road safety, traffic management and security across the state.
Vehicle owners with worn or illegible plates are advised to visit approved MVAA centres, including the One-Stop Centre in Oshodi, to process replacements during the rebate period.
Authorities stressed that clear number plates are essential for effective law enforcement and urged motorists to avoid unauthorised agents and take advantage of the discount window before it expires. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
