Former Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, has reiterated his unwavering support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking at the 15th convocation lecture of Achievers University in Ondo State on Friday, Mohammed explained that he has deliberately chosen to work behind the scenes after years at the forefront of national politics.

“I am a very loyal member of the APC,” he said. “I am 100% behind this administration. But I have played my role on the front line. Whatever I need to do now, I will pass it through the back channels.”

Highlighting his experience in public service, Mohammed noted that he served as minister for eight years, making him the longest-serving minister in Nigeria’s history.

He added that his current priority is mentorship and knowledge transfer to young Nigerians, particularly students in tertiary institutions, as part of his ongoing commitment to national development.
