New details have emerged in the tragic death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to musician d4vd in September — a case that has drawn intense public speculation.

LAPD Captain Scot Williams, commanding officer of the Robbery-Homicide Division, tells reporters that several of the most shocking rumors circulating online are completely false.

Williams clarifies that:
• Celeste was not decapitated
• Her body parts were not frozen
• Claims about her body being frozen “don’t even make sense,” he says

With misinformation spreading rapidly across social media, investigators are stressing the importance of sticking to verified facts as they continue to piece together what happened before and after the teen’s death.

The LAPD is actively pursuing all leads, including the recently identified second suspect believed to have had involvement at multiple stages of the incident.
