Lookman Holds Out for Inter Milan Move, Rejects Arsenal Interest

Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has made it clear he has no interest in joining Premier League side Arsenal, insisting on a switch to Inter Milan as tensions with Atalanta escalate.

The 27-year-old, currently in dispute with the Europa League champions over their refusal to approve his transfer, has skipped La Dea’s pre-season training camp. Atalanta have already rejected two bids from Inter and are holding out for €50m — a valuation that has angered Lookman.

While the Bergamo club are open to offers from outside Italy, Lookman has shown no willingness to consider other destinations. According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, “Lookman is absolutely set on joining Inter. The Nerazzurri have a full agreement with the Nigerian international… Inter are not pursuing other attacking targets, partly to keep him focused and committed.”

Inter coach Cristian Chivu is reportedly prepared to alter his formation to accommodate the former Leicester City forward, making him a priority signing.

Meanwhile, Atalanta are preparing legal action after Lookman left Italy without permission and refused to attend training, taking what the club calls an “unauthorised vacation” following Inter’s latest rejected offer. The Percassi family, who own Atalanta, are reportedly considering a substantial fine as the winger has also cut off communication with the club.
