Harry Maguire has thrown his support behind Manchester United’s £74 million striker Benjamin Sesko, insisting the 21-year-old will soon prove his quality despite a challenging start at Old Trafford.
Sesko, who made substitute appearances against Arsenal and Fulham, has struggled to make an immediate impact, raising questions about whether he can handle the responsibility of leading United’s attack.
But Maguire is confident the Slovenian will come good: “He’s a unit for his age. I’m sure he’s going to cause a lot of defenders problems. He’s still young, but he’s got all the attributes to contribute to the team and to this club for many years to come. We’ll give him our full backing and, fingers crossed, he scores many goals for us.”
