Abubakar Malami SAN, Nigeria’s former Attorney General, along with two co-defendants, has entered a plea of not guilty to the 16 charges of money laundering brought against them by the federal government.
The charges, filed in court, accuse the trio of involvement in financial crimes, but Malami and his legal team rejected the allegations during the arraignment.
The case has now been adjourned, with the court set to hear further proceedings in the coming weeks.
