Christian Eriksen and Manchester United are set to part ways at the end of the season, according to reports.
The 32-year-old Danish midfielder was part of Denmark’s squad that suffered a 2-1 defeat to Spain in a Nations League match on Friday.
Fabrizio Romano shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday that no negotiations are currently underway regarding a new contract for Eriksen. The post also mentioned that while Rúben Amorim’s opinion will be considered, Eriksen is expected to leave the club.
Eriksen joined Manchester United in 2022 on a three-year deal after his contract with Brentford expired.
