Zamfara State Governor, Bello Muhammad Matawalle, has welcomed Hon. Sadiq Abubakar Ciroma, the former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defection was officially facilitated by the Zamfara State APC Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, as part of efforts to strengthen the ruling party’s base in the state.

Governor Matawalle described Ciroma as a leader with vision and sound judgment, assuring him of equal opportunities within the APC. Ciroma explained that he left the PDP due to leadership challenges and neglect under the previous administration and pledged to support the APC in upcoming elections.
