
In response to the abduction of schoolgirls from Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has arrived in Kebbi State to oversee federal intervention.
Upon arrival at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi, Minister Matawalle was received by a brief parade from troops of the Nigerian Army. His visit is part of a coordinated effort by the Federal Government to strengthen search and rescue operations and enhance security across vulnerable communities in the state.
The Minister’s presence underscores the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring the safety of schoolchildren and addressing security challenges in the region.
