The Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, on Tuesday joined Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, and Chairman of the Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, at what has been described as Africa’s biggest boxing event, tagged “Chaos in the Ring.”

The Independence Day boxing spectacle took place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos and was organised by Balmoral Group. The high-profile event drew a star-studded lineup of boxing personalities and enthusiasts.

International boxing icons, including two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and former WBC champion Deontay Wilder, expressed strong interest in the tournament, a development that further underscores Nigeria’s rising profile on the global boxing stage.
