MTN Confirms Network Outage in Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, and Jigawa States

Telecommunications giant MTN Nigeria has announced that subscribers in some northern states are currently experiencing network disruptions.

According to a customer alert issued by the company, the outage is affecting parts of Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, and Jigawa States due to a fiber cut. As a result, customers in the affected areas may find services temporarily unavailable.

MTN assured subscribers that its engineers are already working to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

“Our engineers are working to restore services as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the company said in its statement.

This disruption comes as millions of Nigerians continue to depend on stable mobile connectivity for business, education, and communication, highlighting the impact of network outages in the country.
