NELFUND Disburses ₦419.7 Million in Student Loans to 3,032 Federal University of Lafia Student

The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the successful disbursement of ₦419,723,446 in student loans to 3,032 eligible students at the Federal University of Lafia. This milestone reinforces the organization’s commitment to providing financial support to Nigerian students pursuing higher education.

The initiative, tagged under the hashtag #nelfundstudentloan, aims to alleviate the financial burden on students and ensure they have access to quality education without the hindrance of financial constraints.

The beneficiaries, carefully selected based on their academic merit and financial need, will use the funds to cover tuition fees, learning materials, and other academic-related expenses.

A representative of NELFUND commended the Federal University of Lafia for its collaboration in ensuring the seamless rollout of the program. “This is part of our vision to empower Nigeria’s future leaders by removing barriers to education. We remain dedicated to expanding the reach of this initiative to more institutions across the country,” the representative said.
