
Some cabinet members joined Chairman of Air Peace, Chief Allen Onyema, on a test flight from Brasília, Brazil, to Lagos, Nigeria, marking the commencement of the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) between both nations on Wednesday morning.
Those on board included Minister of Information Mohammed Idris, Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Defence Abubakar Badaru, and Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Geoffrey Nnaji, alongside Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare.
The milestone flight signals the operational kick-off of the BASA pact, which is expected to enhance air connectivity, trade, tourism, and diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Brazil.
