Nigeria has arrived at the 2026 Annual Meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) amid a period of global fragmentation and tightening capital flows. The country’s participation focuses on demonstrating reform credibility, sustaining macroeconomic discipline, and building investor confidence.
The Nigerian delegation will highlight the nation’s economic progress, deepen engagement with international investors, and advance dialogues aimed at actionable decisions. The meetings provide a platform for Nigeria to showcase its reforms and attract strategic partnerships.
Leading the delegation is H.E. Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, alongside the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun. The team is set to engage with global leaders, investors, development partners, and international media during the forum.
