The Minister of Interior, Tunji Ojo, today hosted the new Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mehmet Poroy, at his office for a productive discussion aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.

The meeting focused on strengthening mutual respect, understanding, and collaboration, highlighting the shared traits and challenges that Nigeria and Turkey face as strategic partners.

Officials emphasized that by deepening the partnership, both countries can create a more favourable environment for trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges, benefiting Nigerians and Turks alike.
