Nigeria will host the Africa Agriculture Dialogue (AAD) 2025 from October 7–8 at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja, ahead of the World Food Prize in the U.S.

Themed “Unlocking Finance for Agricultural Transformation in Africa,” the event aims to develop strategies for mobilizing investment and financing to drive agricultural growth across the continent.

This is the first time the Dialogue will be held in Africa, underscoring efforts to give the continent a stronger voice in shaping global food systems.

The two-day meeting will bring together government officials, agribusiness leaders, financiers, and development partners, with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB), AIFA International, Solidaridad, NAIC, NALDA, and Nigeria’s Federal Ministries of Agriculture & Food Security and Livestock Development.

Organizers say the discussions will highlight Africa’s agricultural priorities, promote inclusive growth, and influence global policy conversations on food security.
