The Lagos chapter of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) for Policy and Strategic Studies has honoured former President Olusegun Obasanjo and renowned philanthropist Kessington Adebutu at the 2025 Excellence Awards.

The ceremony, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, brought together policymakers, business leaders, and distinguished members of the National Institute community.

According to the organisers, the Excellence Honours, introduced in 2022, celebrate individuals and institutions whose work has made outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s development. This year’s awardees were recognised for their influence in national leadership, philanthropy, and socio-economic advancement.

The event also highlighted AANI Lagos’ commitment to promoting excellence, policy innovation, and strategic leadership across the country.
