The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has engaged key stakeholders in the downstream petroleum sector as part of efforts to strengthen the security and stability of petroleum products supply across the country.
The engagement took place when a delegation of major downstream operators paid a courtesy visit to the Authority Chief Executive, Engr. Saidu Mohammed. Discussions during the meeting focused on identifying and addressing critical challenges affecting the petroleum supply chain, particularly issues relating to product security and nationwide distribution.
Both parties emphasised the need for sustained collaboration between the regulator and industry players to safeguard petroleum infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the uninterrupted availability of petroleum products to consumers nationwide.
