NNPCL Engages 300 Female Mechanics at She-Fix 2025

NNPC Retail Limited (NRL) has successfully hosted She-Fix 2025, an event dedicated to empowering women in the automotive, technical, and energy sectors while commemorating International Women’s Day.

Held in Lagos, the event attracted over 300 participants as part of the global celebrations for this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD).

According to a statement by NNPC spokesperson Olufemi Soneye, the program was themed “Driving Diversity and Powering Progress.”

The event featured hands-on activities, insightful discussions, and technical demonstrations, showcasing the skills and contributions of women in traditionally male-dominated industries.

NNPC Retail’s Managing Director, Mr. Huub Stokman, underscored the transformative vision of She-Fix 2025. “This initiative goes beyond being just an event—it embodies our commitment to amplifying women’s voices and contributions across various industries,” he stated.

Representing the Executive Vice President, Downstream, NNPC, Senior Business Adviser Mr. Cyprian Onwuegbu reaffirmed the company’s dedication to gender inclusivity.

“NNPC remains committed to fostering diversity, equality, and inclusion. She-Fix reflects our ongoing efforts to create an equitable and progressive workplace for women,” Onwuegbu emphasized.

Attendees participated in Car Care 101 sessions, live car diagnostics, and engaged in a vibrant marketplace featuring female-led businesses. NNPC Retail also reinforced its support for women in the energy sector by offering special discounts on Oleum Lubricants and LPG NR-GAS.
