The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Kano State has sacked its state chairman, Hashim Suleman Dungurawa, accusing him of causing division and unrest within the party.
The decision was confirmed by Shu’aibu Hassan, NNPP chairman of Gargari Ward, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, who told the BBC that Dungurawa’s leadership was terminated due to allegations that he stirred internal conflicts and split party members across the state.
Party sources say the move comes amid growing internal crises and leadership disputes within the Kano chapter of the party. No immediate response was available from Dungurawa.
