NSA Nuhu Ribadu Hosts United States Congressional Delegation in Abuja

Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, on Sunday received a visiting United States Congressional delegation in Abuja as part of ongoing security consultations between the two countries.

The meeting forms one of several engagements aimed at strengthening cooperation on counter terrorism, intelligence sharing and regional stability. Ribadu briefed the delegation on Nigeria’s current security priorities and ongoing government efforts to combat emerging and persistent threats across the country.

The delegation expressed the United States’ commitment to deepening security ties with Nigeria and reaffirmed Washington’s readiness to support initiatives that promote peace, defence reform and strategic partnerships within West Africa.
