For the first time since its inception, the Oakleaf Fitness Fiesta will take place in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, on Saturday, October 4.

The event, which kicks off at 8:00 a.m. at Monoliza Amusement Park, Dikko Road, aims to promote healthy living and an active lifestyle. Organisers expect between 400 and 500 participants, including fitness enthusiasts, healthcare professionals, families, and members of the public eager to embrace wellness.

Dipo Adetuyi, Managing Director of Oakleaf Pharma, said Abuja was the natural choice for this year’s edition.

“Abuja is the nation’s capital and a very vibrant city with a young, dynamic, and active population. It also has a strong culture of sports and fitness, so taking the Fiesta here was a no-brainer,” he explained.

According to Adetuyi, the Fiesta is designed to show that healthy living can be fun and sustainable. “We want people to understand that working out and living healthy doesn’t have to be boring or monotonous. Our hope is that participants leave inspired to make exercise, healthy eating, and wellness part of their daily lives,” he added.

Adetuyi further revealed that plans are underway to expand the Fiesta to Ibadan and Port Harcourt in 2026.
