The French winger’s dazzling season placed him comfortably ahead of Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal, who finished second with 1,059 votes, while PSG’s Vitinha secured third spot with 703 points after a breakout campaign.
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah narrowly missed the podium, coming in fourth with 657 votes, while Barcelona’s Raphinha followed closely in fifth with 620. PSG’s Achraf Hakimi ranked sixth on 484 votes, ahead of compatriot Kylian Mbappé, who surprisingly finished seventh with just 378 points despite another prolific year.
The top 10 was rounded off by Chelsea’s Cole Palmer in eighth place with 211 votes, PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma on 172, and Nuno Mendes, also of PSG, who clinched tenth spot with 171. The results highlight a seismic shift in world football, with new stars rising to the spotlight while established names like Mbappé find themselves edged out of the top three.
