Arsenal have confirmed that French defender William Saliba has signed a new long-term contract with the club, keeping him at the Emirates until June 2030. The 24-year-old, who first joined the Gunners in 2019, has become a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s defensive setup.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Saliba expressed his delight at extending his stay in North London. “I feel proud of myself because I first signed in 2019 and now I’m still here to extend my contract,” he said.
The French international added: “I feel at home. It’s the best place to be. I enjoy every day when I have the chance to wear this shirt.”
