Former Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid, saying the President is restoring stability and hope to Nigeria. Okowa made the remarks on Monday in Abuja at a national summit organised by the Integrity Group of Nigeria, themed “Renew Hope Agenda through Continuity.”
Represented by his former aide, Pascal Adigwe, Okowa praised Tinubu as an “action president” who has accepted responsibility for Nigeria’s challenges, unlike some past leaders. He noted that while Tinubu’s decisions may appear tough, they are already yielding positive results, stressing that continuity is vital for Nigerians to benefit fully from his policies.
Okowa called on support groups to begin laying the groundwork for Tinubu’s 2027 campaign, assuring that his administration has shown readiness to improve lives through bold reforms. Earlier, IGN Convener Dr Oke Idawene echoed the sentiment, saying Tinubu came into office prepared and determined to deliver prosperity for Nigerians.
