The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, saying the President understands the challenges facing the country and is taking the right steps to fix the economy.
Speaking after a visit to President Tinubu on Tuesday, the traditional ruler noted that states now have more financial resources than during his time as a governor, attributing the improvement to ongoing economic reforms by the Federal Government.
“The President knows what he is doing. The states have more money now than what we had as governors. The economy is being fixed,” Oba Ladoja said.
He added that he was optimistic the President’s policies would reposition the country positively, expressing hope that by the time President Tinubu leaves office in 2031, Nigeria would be in a state that all citizens would be proud of.
