Perpetrators of Yobe Killings Will Face Justice — Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the government and people of Yobe State following the tragic loss of lives in Mafa, Tarmuwa Local Government Area. In a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu extended his sympathies to the grieving families and condemned the attack as a heinous and cowardly act of terror by a diminished group of criminals.

The President offered prayers for the souls of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He assured the people of Yobe State that those responsible for this heinous act will inevitably face justice.

Reports indicate that suspected Boko Haram insurgents attacked the Mafa community on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of over 100 people, according to villagers.

On Tuesday, the remains of 77 victims were buried amid tears, as residents called on the government to deploy more security forces and provide relief to those affected by the destruction of their homes.
