The Niger State Police Command has arrested ten suspects in connection with a series of armed robberies, cattle rustling, and other criminal activities.

According to the police, the suspects were apprehended in Minna, the state capital, and Kontagora. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities confirmed that dangerous weapons were recovered from some of the suspects.

The police emphasized that the arrests are part of intensified efforts to tackle violent crimes and protect residents from organized criminal networks. Cattle rustling, in particular, has been a persistent problem in parts of Northern Nigeria, often linked to broader criminal syndicates.
