The Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has initiated the training of 350 procurement officers across the country to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of Nigeria’s public procurement system. The program is designed to equip officers with modern procurement techniques, regulatory compliance skills, and ethical standards to ensure effective service delivery in government agencies.

Speaking on the initiative, government officials emphasized that the training will bolster institutional capacity, minimize procurement-related risks, and improve the management of public resources. By standardizing procurement practices and strengthening oversight, the program aligns with the Tinubu Administration’s commitment to good governance and fiscal responsibility.
