President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved new appointments in key government agencies, including the redeployment of Musa Sarkin Adar, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI).

Mukhtar Shehu Shagari has been appointed as the new Chairman of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA). In a statement, President Tinubu urged the newly appointed officials to demonstrate patriotism, leverage their experience, and promote transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery in their respective roles.

The appointments take immediate effect and are expected to strengthen leadership and operational efficiency in the agencies.
