
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday departed Abuja for a state visit to the Republic of Türkiye. The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on trade, investment, security cooperation, and strategic diplomacy.
The President was seen off at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by key government officials, including the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu; National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
The departure highlights the administration’s commitment to advancing Nigeria’s foreign policy agenda and enhancing partnerships with strategic international partners. The state visit is expected to bolster economic ties and strengthen cooperation in areas critical to Nigeria’s national development.
