President Tinubu Directs Swift Relief as NEMA Delivers Aid to Kebbi Flood Victims

The Federal Government has commenced the distribution of relief materials to several communities affected by recent floods in Kebbi State. The Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Zubaida Umar, personally led the response team to oversee the operation and ensure prompt delivery of aid.

Acting on the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, NEMA mobilized emergency supplies including food items, mattresses, mosquito nets, and essential household items to ease the suffering of displaced residents. The agency visited key affected areas in Dakingari, Koko-Besse, and Bagudo local government areas.

The NEMA DG reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting all Nigerians during emergencies, stating that the intervention was in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at building a more resilient and compassionate nation.
